“Had a fantastic 3-night short stay in the shepherd’s hut owned by Karen and Dave. The hut was spotlessly clean and had everything you could want. The extra touches of coffee pods, bath robes and toiletries in the bathroom was an unexpected bonus. The basket of goodies for breakfast was also a lovely touch and very much appreciated. I would definitely recommend a stay here.”
“My daughter and I spent two nights in Cromwell’s Hideaway and had the most amazing weekend. I was looking for somewhere that we could both have a relaxing weekend whilst also spending quality time together. Cromwell’s Hideaway is perfect with stunning views. Thank you Karen and Dave for being so friendly and welcoming, the arrival hamper was a really lovely touch and my daughter was over the moon with her little present. “Stayed for 2 nights in November and loved every minute of it. We were looking for total relaxation and peace and quiet and Cromwell’s Hideaway definitely delivers. The views are perfect and the shepherd hut itself is the right mix of luxury and rustic charm. Even though it was chilly outside the underfloor heating and log burner kept us very warm. Our host, Karen was lovely and looked after us very well. We really hope we can make a return visit soon.”

“Had such a wonderful stay in the Sheppard’s hut with Raglan castle just a stone’s throw away and easy access to some stunning walks on the Brecon Beacons it’s a perfect base to explore the glorious Welsh countryside. Thoughtfully kitted out with all the basics you need it is beautifully decorated inside and out and the views are perfect for a relaxing stay away from it all. The breakfast basket and welcoming bottle of fizz was a lovely addition

“A beautiful secluded getaway! The hut is small but perfectly formed, more than enough space for my husband and I and with everything we needed. A beautiful location, with plenty to do locally but also lovely if you want to simply sit back and relax. Highly recommended.”

The shepherd’s hut was a great escape, with gorgeous views in a tranquil location. Such a beautiful place to wake up to – very cosy and clean. The finishing touches in the hut were both adorable and practical. Karen and Dave were welcoming, friendly, helpful and responsive. We really appreciate our lovely gifts – so thoughtful. The experience exceeded our expectations for our first glamping trip. We enjoyed every minute, just wish it was a little longer but sure we’ll be back in future!
